Enjoy life in Lancaster! Step back through time at the Cold War Air Museum, Commemorative Air Force Museum, or the Rocky Crest Museum. Shop locally at Lancaster’s charmingly historic Downtown. With over 600 acres of parkland and miles of beautiful hiking, biking, walking, and equestrian trails, Lancaster is an outstanding community for getting outside and getting active. The 170-acre Lancaster Community Park offers amenities such as a fishing pond, football, soccer, and baseball fields, hiking and biking trails, an amphitheater, a library, and a Recreation and Senior Center. The Recreation Center includes a water park, gym, jogging track, fitness center, and much more. Throughout the community, you’ll find plenty of small and large parks, fields, trails, pools, and other facilities.

Just outside of town are the Ten Mile Creek Nature Preserve, and the Bear Creek Nature Preserve, which offers equestrian and hiking trails, a fishing pond, climbing rocks, a butterfly garden, and picnic areas.

The ProLogis Park is a large business park home to some of Lancaster’s top employers, include ProLogis, Quaker Oats/PepsiCo, and BMW. For continuing education, Lancaster is home to a campus of the Dallas County Community College District, the Cedar Valley College.
